Finish on the 30

At yesterday’s 5K, I achieved all the things a newbie could ask for: not being passed in the final stretch by the elderly, getting there on time, not finishing last (although I didn’t finish in 30 minutes—sadness).

I did at least pass a bunch of people after 2 miles, and I think they were folks who a) don’t run regularly or b) were roused out of a drunken stupor that morning to join their friends in the race.

A for effort!

  1. Good job, Rachel!! 32 minutes is a great time– glad you had such a good time! And how fun to finish in the ND stadium– very historic!
